Buhrich House II was designed and built by Hugh Buhrich in Castlecrag between 1968 and 1972. It reads less like a detached object and more like a small landscape, with concrete, timber, glass, and vegetation held in close conversation.

What is most useful about the house is its sense of commitment. It is precise, but not anonymous. The work carries the feeling of a place lived in, tested, adjusted, and understood from the inside.
